SustainAwards in Industrial Water Management
In line with SDG 6, “clean water and sanitation for all”, SustainAwards 2022 was conceived to reward sustainable industrial water management practices.
In cooperation with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the awards recognized and showcased best practices for sustainable water management in the states of Bihar, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
SustainAwards was developed as a platform for the recognition and reward of sustainable business conduct, contributing to a business environment that incentivises and encourages companies’ sustainability efforts. Though the primary focus was sustainable water management, corporate responsibility was assessed holistically, also taking into account broader social and environmental factors.

Through information sessions and the SustainAwards gala ceremony, we raised awareness on responsible business conduct in industrial water management and rewarded the best practices of 7 winners.
