On 31 May 2022, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with amfori, conducted a one-day workshop on Supply Chain Due Diligence in Mumbai.

From 5 May 2022 to 31 May 2022, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with amfori, conducted the Supply Chain Due Diligence Manager Training for companies operating in the automotive supply chain.

On 28th June 2022, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC), in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, organised the virtual kick-off event to launch the SustainAwards 2022 in Industrial Water Management in Bihar, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.

From 5 April 2022 to 28 April 2022, UNDP India, in partnership with the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and amfori, conducted a series of capacity-building initiatives on human rights due diligence (HRDD) for companies in India.

To support textile manufacturers in India and help them restart their operations as per Covid-19 hygiene regulations, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce conducted 6 training workshops on “Anti-Covid Hygiene Training”.

On 8 Apr 2022, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce partnered with Roedl and Partner India, Intorq India Pvt. Ltd and Audi Pune to organise a physical awareness networking event on the “German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act – Potential Impact and Further Guidance” in Pune.

The IGCC SustainMarkets is set to launch its innovation-driven initiative to tackle post-harvest losses in select value chains in India on 8 March in a virtual kick-off event “Supporting India’s Agriculture Sector against Post-Harvest Losses”. The initiative will focus on four selected value chains: tomatoes, onions, potatoes, and apples.

A series of six Regional Roundtables called “Growing with Responsibility” was conducted from 8 February to 8 March 2022 by IGCC to support its member companies with their regulatory requirements,. A total of 50 company representatives participated in the roundtables.
